Guardian’s procurement team are focused on ensuring they purchase ethically and fully review all partners, sub-contractors and suppliers before engaging in business with them. The team work to develop long-term relationships with suppliers to help build the trust they need to make sustained improvements to workers’ conditions and incentivize suppliers by building in compliance to labor standards into their contracts.

Guardian is constantly looking at how to minimize any pollution and negative environmental impacts of its activities on the communities in which it works.
REDUCING CARBON EMISSIONS
By employing tracking software Guardian can efficiently plan the movement of vehicles to optimize routes. For example, encouraging car sharing and sourcing lower emissions models when replacing fleet vehicles, can save a total of 106 tonnes of carbon in just one year.
